No, they are not singing!
I found those deep-fried “hata-hata”/Japanese sandfish outside a Japanese restaurant in Numazu City harbor!

They seem to be another creature rather than fish. Very impressive way of exhibiting their art… So they are fried already and ready to be eaten? Could you pass me one? Promise not to eat, I’ll certainly put them on the most outstanding point of my living room.
